PARIS to VENICE 10th & 11th August

On the move again

Before leaving Paris you must have a Macaroon. Luckily we left it until the last day, they are delicious and very addictive.

Arriving in Venice we were faced with the reality of water transport. Having been pre-warned we avoided the water taxi, apparently horrendously expensive, and took the water bus. Much cheaper and the view is the same.

After unpacking we investigated the San Marco Piazza.

Today (Sunday) we decided to just wander - so many tourists it is very crowded. Apparently a lot of people come over for the day, we are hoping tomorrow will be a little less manic.

We stumbled across the Music Museum - free entry which was amazing.
