Goats, Cows, Pigs, Poo of all kinds, Roadworks and Mount Cinto 2706m.

We started the day badly, the new Scala failed - unbelievable !! Would not turn on. Eventually we set of in the drizzly rain - in silence. Waaaaay up the mountains on a very small back road, which of course had roadworks - mud, gravel, big holes, made Port Macquarie roads look good. Had to share the road today with lots of wildlife, Goats, Cows, Pigs, a Donkey ! The pigs in the photo were not dead, just sleeping on the road- as you do ! Cows seem to rest on the edge of the road overlooking the mountain, whatever suits them. We wound our way up the mountain through Cervione, on to Morosaglia, on to Ponte Leccia and the turned off on the Gorges de L'asco road to Haut Asco. Lunch at the restaurant surrounded by snow capped mountains. Mte Cinto towered beside us (2706metres high), back down the gorges de l'asco road and into Calvi. For John Hermann fans, this was part of one of his rides. Good recommendation, it was unbelieveliable, only spoilt by the fact we couldn't talk as we went along. Another problem to solve.

Great pictures, I like the little puppy you found on the rocks.

Upon further inspection I see that is not a puppy but in fact Nougat, my apologies teddy.
